Its operating income and cash flows derive from the operations of its subsidiaries in which it participates directly or indirectly. Its operations include newspaper and other printing, publishing, and advertising activities, broadcast television, radio operations and television content production, on-line and new media services, and other media related activities. A substantial portion of its revenues is generated in Argentina. Through its subsidiaries, it is engaged primarily in the following business segments as of December 31, 2022: − Print and Digital Publications, consisting of national and regional newspapers, a sports daily, magazine publishing, editing and distribution, and commercial printing. Diario Clarín, the flagship national newspaper, is the newspaper with the second largest circulation in the Spanish-speaking world. The sports daily Olé is the only newspaper of its kind in the Argentine market. The children’s magazine Genios is the children’s magazine with the highest circulation in Argentina. − Broadcasting and Programming, consisting of Canal 13, one of the two broadcast television stations with the highest audience share in Argentina, AM (Amplitude Modulation) /FM (Frequency Modulation) radio broadcast stations (Radio Mitre and La 100), and the production of television, film and radio programming content, including cable television signals and organization and broadcasting of sporting events. − Other, consisting mainly of the operations of its subsidiary GCGC, its shared service center. |
